Farheen Khan is an Indian-Canadian artist currently based in Seattle, WA. She works in traditional media. Her work is inspired by nature and aspires to capture the perpetual motion(s) — and the storytelling implicit in that — of natural scenes and elements.
She is an English lit major with a double minor in History and Philosophy. She also has an MA in Postcolonial and Ecocritical literature.
Her current project is writing and illustrating a children’s book that reimagines the story of Rumplestiltskin from a postcolonial perspective.
